  We were in town for the weekend and stopped in after a movie. We were seated immediately and our server Tina was right with us. The food was really good and Tina was an excellent waitress!

  After a 5 hour road trip we finally made it to Montgomery, we got into town at 9pm so options for restaurants were slim but we figured we can't go wrong with Applebee's. We were hungry, the kids were hungry and we were meeting some friends so this was the perfect location. Now we knew coming in on a Friday night we'd be expecting a wait but everything after putting our name on the list just went so downhill.
  We put our names on the list, had a seat and waited. The wait wasn't too bad. They had actually started to clear out but there was just confusion among the staff on who was next on the list and where to sit people even though by this point there were plenty of tables open.  They called our names twice then would turn around and tell us actually hold on we'll seat you in a minute. But third time was a charm and we were seated.
  Our waiter was running on E by this point which is understandable especially with the Friday night rush but he had a really hard time doing simple things like remembering what each person wanted or coming back to top off our drinks or making sure everything was ok. My husband and I had both just went with appetizers. Mine came out correct and was ok however my husband ordered some wings and a quesadilla. The wings came out and then we were waiting to flag him down for a sauce. Then we realized his quesadilla was missing and it took a while, we had asked the hostess who helped bring out the other food and she told us it was coming. It never did and I think it was just an automated response but it would have been nice if she decided to do her job and care and check. When we saw our waiter we had to ask him again and shortly after my husband finally got his quesadilla after our friends had already gotten their dinner and were finishing up. Food quality here too seems to just be going down but I guess when you're out late there are not a lot of options for a reason. It would of been nice to at least have decent service so I can see why so many bad reviews are given to this location. Staff here really don't care but this was my first and last time here.

  Overall, everything was great. Our appetizer (the spinach and artichoke dip with chips and salsa) was incredible! I believe this Applebee's had the best steamed broccoli I had ever tried as well. Our waitress was nice and always made sure our drinks were filled and that we were taken care of. I ordered a steak though, it was just okay. My husband really liked his food. I can't really complain!

  I never leave bad reviews but our waitress Heaven had an really foul attitude and charged me for a drink I didn't receive which she fixed after I pointed it out. As soon as she brought our bill over she was saying she was sorry and that she was sick like it would make up for the bad service. She hovered over my friend while he signed the bill which is incredibly rude. Maybe she really was sick but it doesn't excuse the way we were treated. Laura (the hostess I think?) was really sweet though and I really appreciate her helping clear our table.

  Terrible service and mediocre food. Applebee's used to be a favorite place for our family and for my son and me for guys day out.  Our most recent visit to Applebee's was the last straw. Arriving late afternoon on a Saturday, we were seated after 10 minutes, we waited for almost a half hour and no one checked on us. No drink orders were taken and certainly never took our food order. In past visits, the food has been mediocre fare even for Applebee's. Incorrect and incomplete entreés, slow or no drink refills. inattentive wait staff. We don't expect Michelin stars at Applebee's, but we do expect competent management running a competent business preparing prefab food the best it can be. All Montgomery area locations have garnered this reputation and no amount of apolgetic phone calls from franchise management will change that.
